when i turn to the left it pops and want turn all the way what do i check

Does the steering wheel move up when it does that?
Probably worn bearings in the steering gear box, but hard to say with little info.
You might want to post this on the 9N/2N/8N forum too. Guys over there specialize in N's.

no it dont move up and down can turn to the right then back to the left it will turn all the way but seems tight

Jack it up to take the weight off the front wheels. Turn Ok then?
Can you tell where the "pop" comes from? Tie rod end, gear box, spindle?
There are multiple possibilities here and they're hard to see over the internet so you will need to help us help you by providing details.

replace the bearings in your steering sector.
