taking a trip to east Texas, be back Monday hate to miss all the good stuff here , but the trip is a must, hope my 20 year old 250,000 mile pickup is ready for this...
 
worst part is the better half has already noted that we are NOT taking a trailer, that way a tractor wont climb on it while were at a motel so it cam come home with us , wonder how she'll feel when she finds out the 3rd reason for this trip is to drive back this pickup i bought over there...
 
I didn't have the guts to drive the wifes truck with 265,000 miles on it to Tennessee last week. Went to Enterprise and rented an Impala with just 7200 miles on it for $140. Unlimited mileage. It was sure worth the peace of mind.

Have a good trip. We'll take care of things here for you while you're gone.

So then where are you starting from and where are you going. I bet if you ran into trouble there would be a number of us that would be happy to help you if we could. But of course if you stopped in at the wrong place something might try to hitch a ride home with you LOL
 
stop by krusers, pick up a couple horses and drop em off at the howells!!!! Nancy would just love a couple more horses!!!
 
I rented a car when i went out west. 4200 miles of driving for $430. I had one sitting in the garage with less than 35K miles on it. Felt it was the best thing to do if I had trouble just get a new rental car.
