OT Bad news at Harvest time

We just pulled in our driveway 15 minutes ago and saw a fire truck go thru 1/2 mile down the road. Mother in law called and said she herd on the scanner someone's combine caught fire and caught a building on fire. I'm gonna take a drive down and maybe get a picture or two.
Not good! Hope no one got hurt.

See my post below. They found somebody dead after a barn fire this morning about a mile and a half from me.

That's not good.

As dry as it is around here, glad to get some plowing done, put some fire breaks in the fields. Was very calm today, but wind asvisory again for tomorrow, if a stalk field catches on fire, don't think they could stop it until it hit a break somewhere.

Me being the spoiler, and with a background in insurance. Many times harvest is over, the combine is giving trouble and there is a big loan on the combine, and SHAZAM, it catches fire.

Problem solved. Not always, but it sure seems a coincidence.

Had a friend's silver seeder catch fire a couple days ago while working beans. He had no clue until he turned around and the wind blew the smoke past the cab.
