I went with my friend Dennis(the owner of the EB Big 4)Yesterday to pick up his newest tractor.Pretty straight. The PO purchased the tractor in the early '60s for $50.The son OHed it in the early '70s while in highschool. It has only 100 hrs or so on that OH!Pretty impressive. While we were there,I also bought a fully mounted plow(1 bottom, two way) for an H/M Farmall for $60!(saved from the scrapper!)I thihk I will put it on the H I drug home last month!:)

I'll tell'ya what. I wouldn't even restore that one. Looks like original paint to me. You don't make barn finds like that one everyday. They need to be preserved intact when you do.

Dennis is very good about leaving tractors as they are.Espeacially the ones like this JD,and the Emerson..

DeltaRed,
That is really neat! I like the rust with just a hint of green here and there.

If we ever get another tractor, it will be a rusty, unstyled JD B (husband would then sell his restored & painted B).

Ohh, that is a jewel! I seriously doubt those are the original tires unless those are cut-down wheels from original steel which they don't look like. The rear "bent-bar" Firestones like those were made in the 40's after WWII until about 1951. Whatever, that is one neat old tractor.

I had a 1935 JD-D a few years back. Sold it to a guy but do not remember where he was from but he was out of state. It was one that my ATF treatment did not work on LOL
