This is the first rain we have had that is measurable in a month or so. It is supposed to rain off and on all day through noon tomorrow. They talked about maybe an inch or more. I hope we get that much. It is coming down perfect.

Now the only problem is I seem to have miss placed my get-up-an-go. LOL On rainy days I just want to lazy around and watch it rain. When I was younger the better half would occupy my time. LAMO

Some of the Grand kids will be here after lunch so we will go mess up the shop some. So let us know if you are getting rain or not.

Looks like a heavy dew out there. Little sprinkle.....

Was about garenteed a 3/4 to 1.5 inch rain by the weather forcasters all week.....

It's dry.

Over night, in Omaha, I measure just under 1/2". Warm and HUMID now, sun trying to shine. They say we could get more, possibly severe, after 4 today.

Got some rain here in the Pacific Northwest starting yesterday, first measurable in over 2 months. Supposed to get a little more, but no toad-strangler yet.

I am glad to hear that someone who badly needs it is getting some rain. If it hasn't rained in a month or longer, an inch isn't really that much. 'Course I know, you will take anything you can get. After a dry spring and early part of summer, we haven't lacked for moisture since early July.

Raining here in NW MO right now - supposed to get strong storms today. We need the rain really bad. We got some late Aug early Sept but then it stopped and the ponds are drying up fast again. Since the majority of the harvest is in you are not hearing on the news how we are still so dry. I am smoking summer sausage today - makesit harder with the rain but I'll take it!

Sunny now and we need a few nice days to get crops in, supposed to be rain this afternoon that I don't think annyone is looking forward to. They just got back yesterday after more than a week of too wet with water standing to start harvesting the beans. Wheat should have been in ground but could not get beans off to put wheat in. Some switched to corn while could not do the beans.

.15 here in my neck of NWIA so far.
They talk like another round will come this PM. At first they were talking 1"-2" but it had better hurry if it's gonna do it. Jim

JDseller, getting rain here in the Puget Sound. Sure hope that the farm is getting some too. Has been raining lightly here and can use s few frog stranglers at the farm as the ground is like concrete.

We had a little shower in the night and had a good soaker about 8:30 that last about an hour. Today was opening day of deer season in our unit, went out with a friend hoping to put some meat in the freezer, we only saw a very young doe. I just came in from checking cattle, clouds are moving back in, I'm hoping we get another shower.

First rain here other than a couple of .3s in about 8 weeks now. You can see up above what I've been up to,even though it was the farthest thing from my mind to do today.

Been raining lightly off and on since before daybreak, don't think we got much. Good day for it. I finished combining beans yesterday and can't get fertilizer for wheat planting until Monday. Good day to stay in and watch it, mess around on the computer, read a book--but I gave in and cleaned and greased the combine before putting it away. Supposed to get more tomorrow, so maybe I'll start that book after all. Thanks for reminding me rrlund, I need to get mine backed up too.
