Anyone know of something? Been all over ebay (here and the US), Mcmaster Carr, JC Whitney, even amazon with no luck.........

Exhaust on the tractor exits just under my left foot and is pretty fumy in the cab (?).... Like to slip a flexpipe on it and run it out the back...... would even settle for 1-3/4 or 2 inch if I could find it....

Dave, since your in Germany, look for either 38 Millimeter (1.5 inches) OR 40 Millimeter-an eighth over 1 1/2 inches.
So far, only 50mm (2")..... will check a parts store monday for smaller, but the 50 will do..... Autozone has it but won't ship to APO addresses..... I'll just stick local if it's gonna be oversized anyway......... Thanks.

Is there a muffler shop near you? They can bend and swell exhaust pipe to suit your needs

Not really (close anyway).... I'll have another look but before I do that, it'll prolly be cheaper to switch manifolds and put a stack on it.........

The cheap flexible stuff you can buy at an auto
parts store is junk for what you need it for.
Exhaust fumes will kill you! You don't want any
chance of exhaust getting in the cab. Heavy duty
flexible exhaust tubing is available but it's not
cheap! Go to a muffler shop and have them make you
an exhaust pipe.

When I ran a welding shop I had several young guys who wanted to become welders. They usually started welding dumpsters but gradually worked up to become welders. Several over time involved in needing custom exhaust. I kept seamless tubing in stock. They would make saw cuts and bend then weld, They did this after hours and I did not mind. They were happy but had some odd looking stuff that worked for them

How long is your exhaust pipe and muffler before that exit?
What I'm getting at is how hot is it at the point where it exits?
You may be able to use something other than metal, or a thin wall copper
tubing, conduit or the like that you can bend at home.

Not long, about 18 inches from manifold to muffler, muffler is about 2ft long, and the dump is 4 inches. Gets pretty warm. The more I think about it, I think I'll switch to a stack if I can just flip the manifold or find a used one on ebay cheap........ gets pretty uncomfortable driving any length of time.....

Dave,
My Jubilee exhaust came out the back under the rear axle. I didn't like the smell. Installed a vertical exhaust, like the younger ford models. I went to YT and purchased the pipes I needed. I don't think you will be happy just extending what you have. Go vertical.

Do you have muffler shop that can bend and weld exhaust pipes? Make a custom exhaust. After I went vertical, I discovered that all the crap in the rafters of my barn went flying the first time I started the tractor, so I put a 90 bend on the exhaust and back tractor in barn. This sends the exhaust out the door when I start it.

Just get a solid pipe custom bent. You should see
how fancy a set of curves and bends some
electricians. Can bend into rigid conduit with just
a hand held manual pipe hickey.

JC Whitney shows it in their latest catalog: T304 stainless steel, 2" I.D. is # WAB214047 at $35.99 for a 5" length. Five foot should be enough for dual exhaust set-up - cool eh.

They also have stainless steel flex couplers which are for vibration isolation. They should allow for some amount of bending....(?). A 2" I.D., 4" long is #WAB294715 At $$13.95. The same thing in a 10" length is $21.44.

(reply to post at 05:32:21 10/13/12)

just had someone post me some pics on a forum here.... Gotta look and see which manifold I have and then either buy or make the pipe to put a stack on it. Didn't want to because of haying under fruit trees, but will just put a shorter muffler on and an extension that I can slip off when doing the trees.... cutout for the stack is patched on the hood now anyway and looks a little goofy...
Give me a chance to track down (or up) an oil leak also....
