Finished harvest

Got finished with harvest yesterday.Here"s a pic of my middle son running the wagon.

I'm beyond the halfway point. Gonna take the day off tomorrow. I'm about worn out and it's early yet.

We had this last 1/4 testing 12.7 to 13.4 and 60 test wieght. It was the first year with no drying charges or shrink at the elevator for all my corn crop. Usually we have some toward the end testing a little wet.

I've been picking ear corn and cribbing, It's been bone dry,but I got in to a field today that had a different variety on one side,stalks are a little greener,corn's a little waxy,but it's mixing together and sliding right out of the wagon just like that stuff that was all dry. The round cribs are all full,this is going in a long crib,so I've got no doubt it'll be OK.
