copper top neighbor kid...and brother.

All,

It"s been a long time since I"ve posted regarding the neighbor kid(s)...

I used to call him red-headed, but some took offense to that, he didn"t. Neither did I, nor my family...

this young lad has helped me with a lot of tasks, and I thnaked him for it.

Today, I gave him and his brother a riding lawn mower, running with a bagger attachement, (with parental approvement), in hopes they"d turn it into a go-cart. The boys said they need the mower more, though. So, off it went. Tied the youngster"s bike to the catcher bag"s and off he went.

My better half said to give it freely, and after it was gone, I listened to it heading down the gravel. I am feeling a bit better now. These fellows have given me much more than a mower, they give me a view into their lives.

I do like them to stop over, with whatever they have going on. Sometimes they stop for a coke, some times this misses cooks mack and cheese for them.

I still feel a bit of remorse about the mower, but it"s only machinery. These two are priceless with how it makes me and the lady feel about giving.

These fellows need not know about our feelings though, I"d refer they never know how much we like them around.

Just saying,

D.

Used to have a neighbor girl stop by the house on her way home from Friday and SSaturday evening activities. We would just talk/visit usuallynothing to deep. We felt blessed that she would feel comfortable to stop and talk to adults. You will always be fondly remembered by those boys. The mower is nothing compared to the love you and the misses give. gobble

They probably already know you like them around or they wouldn't keep coming back.

What you share when they come by is worth way more than the mower.

Maybe the thing will develop a problem and you can help them fix it.
