Auctions: Good and Not So Good

I put a Browning BPS 20 gauge I won at a Ruffed Grouse banquet about 20 years ago on consignment. It sold for $475.00. I only shot one line of trap with it and I still had the box. A Tracker collar with two collars didn't fare as well. I paid around $400.00; it sold for $75.00. I don't think the auctioneer knew what it was worth. He started too low. But I haven't used it only a few time in five years, so .... It will pay almost half of an extra GPS collar which works much better.
