Toro golf course tractor

I just got a Toro golf course tractor. Tractor#29501 Engine#1050
4cyc. 8n motor
4speed trans.
dual rear wheels
It also has a dump bed.
If anyone can give me any information I would appreciate it.

Sounds like an old Toro General. The models without the dump box were called Bullets. There's some info on the net if you google it.

I don't know what year it would be. I know there is some info on the internet and you could contact Toro. They are still very much in business. I know the last Bullet made was sold in 1959 because my dad sold it. I'm pretty sure the Generals were made into 1959 as well as I worked at a golf course that had both that were late 50's models that were also sold by my dad early in his career selling turf equipment. The Toro tractors were around way before the 1950's though and last models made used surplus WW II 6 cylinder Ford engines.
