OT But very thoughtfull!!!

I know this is way off topic, but I had some Case tractors parts in in my truck,LOL
On my way home from my "town job" , I stopped at McDonalds for a sandwich. The wife was working late and I knew I was going to be too busy to cook tonight,Well I went throgh the drive up and ordered,then moved to the window to pay.The young lady at the window had a big smile on her face and said" The lady in car ahead of me had paid for my meal!" I was shocked! I yelled "Thank you very much!" She looked in her mirror and smilled as she drove off.Now folks,I have never seen this lady before,and she did this for a stranger! That was about the nicest thing any stranger has ever done for me! It made this old farmer feel good inside!The world still has thoughtfull people!! Thanksyou!!! Doug
 
Careful Doug, sounds like a set up. I bet your wife sent her over there to do that to see if you would follow her to thank her in person! I guess your safe!
 
The way it works is, you are supposed pay for the one behind you to keep the chain going, it is enough to make a guy not use the drive through(I don t)
 
That same thing happened to me, really peaked my interest, then realized I was driving my son's truck. Dang!
 
My daughter is on city water and has used alot of water this summer keeping her flowers alive . She went to the water company to try and setup a payment so she could get paid up . There was 2 other older folks in there at the time . The co. told her they dont do the payment thing and it would all be do the next week . The next day there was a note from the water co. that someone had paid her bill but but did not want to be known . Like you say there are some good folks around
 
When I am in line at the grocery store. With a full basket and someone gets behind me. With only a few items. I tell them to go ahead of me. Small thing to do,but I get some very nice words from them.

23 years in the military and I still hate waiting in line.

Your supposed to pass it along.
Happened to me at a toll booth.
Since I already had my money out, I paid for the guy behind me.
