were is the hyd fill on 1958 240 IH.

I dont know either.But if I was in your shoes,I would order a book ASAP from these guys here at YT...If you dont know where to add/check oil,I bet there's a lot of stuff you don't also know.Buy an 'Owners manual'!!!

The hydraulic reservoir is in the clutch housing. From the left side of the tractor, look for a large hex just behind the clutch on the top of the housing. For quality reprints of IH manuals go to www.external_link
