What is a R rated tire? In 205 75 15 all I can find are C,D,and E rated Tires. C has load rating of 1820 LBS, D is 2150 LBS. and E is 2840LBS.

A 205/75D I believe is a bias ply tire, a 205/75R would be a radial, I run all radial ply tires on my trailers, have for years, works good.

the "D" means its a bias tire...the "R" will be a radial. in a 205/75-15 they both should be load range "C" ( 6 ply rated). Don't mix 'em. I always run the radials on my personal stuff, but i have customers that swear by bias. either one wholesales for right at $65 so there really shouldn't be a price advantage either way.
