Well we had good weather for the bridge crossing in Mackinaw City this year again. Started to spit a little just before the step off. Then cleared off for the crossing. Then rained some in the afternoon.
The final tally was 921 tractors by the bridge authorities count. Bob told me this over the weekend. Bob is the organizer and owner of Owosso Tractor Parts in Owosso MI.

This was my first year watching the Bridge crossing. I hope everyone takes the time to go to this, at least once in their lives. Watching the smiles on the drivers faces as they drove by was quite a sight. My wife even liked the show & wants to go back. Good job to all that paraded & thanks for the hard work put in by the organizors.

Just curious, how long did the tractor parade take, and is all other traffic stoped?

Traffic is limited to the left lane on the bridge. It takes about 4-5 hours to get them all across.

Hi John, I started out on my tractor at 9:35 and pulled into parking lot on the other side at 12:55. Traffic is not stopped. Tractors on outside lane others on inside lane.

Thanks Mark. I usta live in Munising. Nothing except the Labor Day walk back then (1968-70).
Sounds like fun. Wish I could make in with my Farmall H! Someday.....
