super h heating

I overhauled my super h. I filled the radiator with anti-freeze (although it would not hold the listed capacity). I started the tractor and after running it for about ten minutes, I noticed that it was flushing anti-freeze out the overflow but there was no indication of overheating on the engine gauge. Is there a possibility that there is a vapor lock and if so what can I do to relieve it or what else could my problem be. Thanks.

The radiator will need to be down at least 1-2" to prevent overflow when warmed up. If it burped this out, then maintains level do not worry.

Check your operators manual for proper fill height.

Let it cool (i am sure it is now) then see if the level is down about two inches below the neck. If so it is good to go. All capacities are approximate. if it is down below the core tubes, then it could have needed a burp to get a pocket of air out. five minutes is usually plenty to see if the top of the radiator is getting warm, and there is flow.
