Local guy is selling one with the waukusha Diesel. Wants 15k. Can you folks please give me the pros and cons of this tractor and price? Thx
Will use to move heavy snow w either plow or loader

that price is real high unless it is low hours and one owner or restored. They are a good tractor though. I would make sure it starts good in the winter if that is what you want to use it for. My 1655 doesn't start great in the winter.

The Olivers used the Clark front axle and depending on what loader you use you might have to use wheel spacers on the front for loader clearance

I own a Oliver 1655 an like it. This was in the late 1980s. I was at a sale an a one owner lower hour Oliver 1755 sold for what I though was a buy. So I bought it. I hated that tractor. It is completely different than a Oliver 1655. The transmission was noise and the thing was so heavy the 1655 would out work it. I kept it a few years and sold it. I still have the Oliver 1655. It does a lot of hay work.

The Oliver 1755 with MFWD would be high priced at 15K. It is more of a collector's item than a user tractor. The MFWD on them will take a country mile to turn around it. I think it would be a horrible loader tractor.

For you 15K you could get a real good newer true MFWD that will turn much shorter and be more user friendly.
