Scottish working day pictures

Visited one of our largest Scottish tractor working days last weekend and thought you might like to see a few pictures which I took. As most of you will konow I have a strong interest in big diesel from the US and normally we wouldnt see too many of these our side of the pond but I was surprised at just how nmany there were present on the day. There was a good showing of CAT models, a couple of Olivers a 80 and a 90 and an excellent MM with a five bottom plow which I had never seen before. Unfortunately I didnt see it working but guess it must have been impressive seeing the old MM manage this. There was a good showing of Ford County tractors with one based on the Ford 9600 you guys have. If anyone knows of a County 1454 for sale over your way I would be real interested in hearing from you. There was also the usual line of Massey models such as the 135 which always look nice and one newly imported MF 1155. Anyway hope you enjoy the pictures.

Great pics. Keep them coming. Really enjoy the variacions in design. It seams that European Tractors spend much more time on the roads, and more oriented to small fields than ours here In the US. The ones in Australia and New Zeland do seam to dwarf most of ours though.

Hi Bill,
Where in Scotland was the tractor working days?
Is it an annual event?
I have relatives in Edinburgh and have to visit them sometime. Last time I was visiting, we went to a tractor show in Yorkshire.

I enjoy seeing photos of tractors, etc. from anywhere! Thanks for posting. Is the binder actually mounted on the front of the gray tractor, or is the tractor just parked very close to it?

Yes its an anual event held just outside Perth which is between Glasgow and Dundee, I live north of Aberdeen so it was around 100 miles from my place. We have a small one coming up near my place at the end of the month so plan to have three tractors along.
