Hydraulic Line (Weekend in Review...Pics)

The first order of business in the 544 resto project was fixing a couple of hyraulic leaks. I got tell you...replacing the short steering hose under the dash of the Farmall was not for the faint of heart. It took a lot of patience and also a lot of time. Don't want to cross thread that thing. Look at that bad boy just buried in there. Uff da.

Then the brother-in-law stopped by with his old "goin' to town" truck for some old scrub bales of hay to use for seed cover on his lawn. I'm not sure that 460 CID does too well in the mileage department, but she sure lays down the rubber if you push the foot feed through the firewall.

And then in the afternoon I cowboyed up with the .32 special for some gunpowder therapy. The little girl really has a bite in the shoulder being so small and light. It kicks harder than my .416 with the muzzle break. Still fun to shoot though!

Love the photos. Neighbor used to have the same truck with the same engine in black with red interior. Loved that truck. Nice rifle also. If I bought every gun I would like to have I would be broke in two days. Heck I’m about broke now.

I must have about 20 guns, and the wife likes guns, but said the next one I buy might be used on me. So just to be safe the last one I bought was for her.
