Thanks everyone for saying thanks....

TO answer a few questions....or comments.

I decided that most of us know what a WD45, Farmall H or JD B looks like and figured that I would mostly take pictures of stuff that we don't often see here, things that I'd never seen before or things I'd only seen in photos. I'm glad everyone has enjoyed them.

The odd looking machine in the first set posted is an elevating grader.

The Dalton show is smaller than the Rollag show and can be seen in a day except for events such as classic tractor pull and the plowing and harvesting demo. It has a pioneer village And that is included in the"see in a day". There is also a small flee market on site with some tractor related items, my SIL got a nose cone, hood and belt drive for his tractor there yesterday.

The LRPTA restores a tractor every year to raffle. This year it was a MM 4 Star. I did not take pictures but it looks fantastic!

For those who may be interested Dalton is a very small town located in west Minnesota about 5 miles off of I 94, 170 north west of the Twin Cities, 70 miles south west of Fargo ND and about 150 north of Watertown SD. There is camping near or on site plus motels in Fergus Falls MN are about 15 miles.

Ah Fergus Falls , Had one of the best supper there while i was on the road at the little Citgo truck stop. That supper ranked up there in the top ten of the best meals i ever had on the road.

Patrick, yes great weather for a show like that! Did you see a big ugly old guy with a walker and a camara? That was me.

Rick

Rick..saw lots of guys with walkers..some with cameras but none of them ugly! I rarely post but a very nice fellow with the Allis guys showed me how "spin out" rims worked. I have a small hobby farm west of the twin cities and my biggest piece of old iron is a Ford LGT100! Pat

Patrick, did you see the one who 6'5"? I think I was the only guy there with a walker that tall.

Hey ya gotta start some place I graduated from a couple of old Wheel Horse tractors about 6 years ago.
