Nice video. I know what I see in that video and at other tractor shows it's commond pratice but, The chance of some one getting hurt is high. The fella running the saw steps up to measure the board just a few feet from the blade. Just the smallest slip and we would be reading about it in the papers. The guys catching the boards, the smallest slip and they get pinched between the carriage. Be careful Guys. I know OHSA would not approve of the operation.

I saw a guy slip between the left rear tire and the open flywheel of a running eary JD A. He was wearing a loose fitting shirt with long tail untucked. My heart skipped a beat.

Sometimes it's kinda exciting to do things like they used to be done by intelligent people without having some government agency watching over your activity. Most times when people get hurt by machinery, new or old, it's because of their own stupidity anyway. Yes, there are exceptions, sometimes old equipment fails but most of the people working around it know the haszards and are willing to take the risks to have some enjoyment in running it.
