Name This Tractor

It was mine as a kid. I sure my Dad bought it used. My paint job in 1976 or 77 when I was 4-5 years old. Then it was run over, laid in the woods for 30+ years. Now a yard ornament. Just wandering if it was modeled after a real one.

Not really.

The Murry"s were not meant to resemble any tractor that way no royalities had to be paid.

Wow that brings back memories!!!! Had one just like it...was traded in on a John Deere back in 65. Daddy took 2 old graden rakes and made a "plow" for me...plow and planted many "acres" in our back yard lol...I even turned it around and pushed mine to make a combine. Thanks for sharing.

Had one just like it too. I think I need to head over to the parents place and see if it is still stashed up in the attic.

Think my was an Allis Chalmers. Haven't seen it in 35 years, but my dad still makes comments about the orange streaks of paint on the chest freezer.

I had one like it in the early sixties. Farmed a million acres with it. It was a Murry. My best friend had a Farmall 656. Sometimes we farmed together. I always wanted a John Deere but never got one.

That brings back memories. My dad built me one out of plywood and wheels like that one. He built it with pedals but they didn't work well, so the pedals came off and I drove it Flintstone style. At first it was a Massey Harris 30 like my dads, and then it became a John Deere 3010 like the neighbours. My brother had one to. Our house was built so that you could go all the way around in a loop, and we spent most of the winter driving around the loop at top speed. All furniture and door trim and such had gouge marks the same height as the rear axles. I still have whats left of it, the plywood is very rotten, but it is 50 years old. My guess is that he patterned it off of something like that one.
