My long weekend started on Wednesday so I thought I would drop a few pics of whats been going on...
The weapon of choice this weekend is going to be the tobacco axe. Ah yes it's that time of year again. A field of Norwegians wielding cold steel...just like back in the days of the vikings.

The second weapon of choice. Wisconsin has a law that requires everyone owning a rimfire rifle to pound at least 500 rounds down the barrel on holiday weekends.

Cutting hay...easy! Disconnecting haybine...well that's another story!

The neighbor came up with some sheep from a rescue in the area that hadn't been shorn in years. This same neighbor lost his collie last month so I lent him my border collie / blue heeler for the day to help out. Funny how those herding dogs are just hard wired for that kind of thing. They are dang good at what they do.

It started with fixing some small wiring issues and replacing some hydraulic lines. Now my dad is trying to talk me into a complete restoration of the 544. I hope it's his checkbook and not mine!
