Sounds like a pretty generic put-down of us self-reliant types; I don't drink beer and I wouldn't trust either of my brothers-in-law with a screwdriver, but I've done my share of wiring; haven't had anything turned down by an inspector yet...........I also don't have a degree in welding, plumbing, roofing, wrench-turning, carpentry, engineering, being a vet or any of the many other occupations that us family-farm types had to know to survive.
