Learned yesterday that I have a tumor in my right kidney that needs to be removed.It is kinda close to a blood vessel and not sure if it is cancer. Had a rough year last year,..three major surgeries in six months. I was just getting back to normal health and this thing pops up. Surgeon says he should be able to remove the tumor and save the kidney,..won't know for sure until he gets in there.Surgery should be 3-4 hours long. About a week stay in the hospital if all goes well.
A little nervous about this one but, I'v been through worse. Thank the Lord he gave us two kidneys in case one goes bad. Tests next week then a date for surgery probably in the next three weeks or so. Could use some prayers on this one to keep the surgeons hands steady and save my kidney if possible.Worst part is the waiting and the tests leading up to surgery.
