Well we need the rain, but I'm right underneath's noaa's X on indiana for 10.89 inches. Thinking that will be plenty. And this is indiana!!! I remember an earlier hurricane saving my beans several years ago. Still got some 3.8's that are green, maybe it will help. Everyone stay safe looks a big rainmaker a long ways from the coast.

Yea your going to get it my friend way west of you is going to get and we are going to get it . This will green the corn back up and push back choppen . Plus give me some more time to get better , been under the weather now for a week and a half.

I'm hoping it pushes far enough north so we get at least an inch. I remember a few years ago I'd been chopping for about 3 days and we got the remnants of a huricane that dumped 4 inches over a weekend. Set me back 10 days before I could get back at it.

What part of Indiana do you live? I live in the NE part of the state and I saw rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday but they did not mention that heavy of rain.

They're forecasting for the remnants of Isaac to hit the mid atlantic area on Sunday and Monday.
They showed the path on a local TV weather map and it looks to be heading east hitting PA and MD. Hal
PS: My late dad was from western IN and graduated from college in 1912.

I'm in NE Louisiana. So far we have got very little rainfall and occasional wind gusts. Expect to get ours tomorow.

I'm in NW Louisiana so I probably won't get as much rain as MB58 but we're expecting a pretty nice shower. The wind has been real blustery here today, will be worse tomorrow. One gust this afternoon got up around 40 mph, I'd guess, and dropped a dead pine on top of one of my gates. Just missed my shop. I hadn't even noticed the thing was dead.

Looks like the eye will pass directly over my wife's property about 60 miles east of here, and over my in-laws' place.

Driving around town today it was interesting to see convoys of utility trucks moving through. Strange to see names like Idabell, Oklahoma, and Logan, West Virginia on the doors of the trucks. They're staging the trucks here to have them ready to move in whatever direction they need to go tomorrow. As I passed these guys I gave them a salute and a big friendly wave. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes the next couple of weeks.

Check out the main NOAA site, there's a map showing it. Weather channel just said 2-6 inches. Sounds like something's going to happen. This is near Lafayette

We need it. Most Lakes and Rivers here are at record lows. Hope you get the Wabash filled back up George.

Actually, if you were a lineman, you'd probably like to be in their shoes. Friend of mine has been on several of these "missions", and always enjoys it- hard work, but get to see new country, and all the locals love ya- coffee and cookies at every pole. And storm damage repair is always a challenge, but a satisfying one when you get 'er done.

I'm here too. I know that one well. The totals look to be going down some. There might be less than 30 miles between 5 inches and nothing. Hey, just like normal in IN.

After the flood in 2008, I spent a lot of time making sure that the next time I get a 10 inch rain, the water will flow away from the house not towards it. Lake is the lowest I've ever seen it. Streams are dry too. Come on rain, we can use it!!
