New Hercules 298 cu in diesel engines

While searching around, I found on a Government Liquidation web site there are 56 new 6 cyl. Hercules 298 diesel engines in a current auction in Ohio. Auction ends tomorrow. I sure don't need one, but the starting bid is $150.00 on them, and most don't have a bid yet. Not sure if there was a tractor application, but they sure seem cheap. I can't attach the link, but go to gov.liquidation.com, state of Ohio, lot 1038 is one of them.

Hercules DD 298 was used in the Cockshutt 570.

I see they are going to have a few Allis 3500 series engines in early September...
Looks like all these engines were for Gen Set applications.

Starting bid $150.00----Wonder how much WE paid for them when the Govt.bought them.
