TM 120 Hydraulic leak

Does anyone have any input on a 2004 New Holland
TM 120? What would be causing a hydraulic leak
under the cab and is it serious?

Looking to buy a used TM 120 and was told it was
leaking hydraulic fluid from under the cab. How
concerned should I be? Tractor is powershift and
has a loader. Just under 4000 hours.

Seems to be in decent shape. Any tips on what to
look for on this model since I"ve not had a New
Holland tractor before?

Any and all comments welcome.

Thanks

I'm probably not much help but I would make sure exactly what is leaking and whats involved to get it properly repaired. My little loader tractor has a leak under the cab. It appears to be a seal on the Hyd. pump. One dealer said about 40 dollars parts and 1500-1600 in labor. Another said 30 in parts and about 800 in labor. My tactor is a 05 with 1008 hrs on it and still looks new. I would tell them to get it fixed and then will talk.

A TM is like an 8x60 series if I recall right, aren't all the CCLS hydraulics run between the cab and the transmission in that space?
