Seed Corn

Anybody plant Unity seed?
If so, how are they to deal with? Pricing & performance?

I planted some a few years ago. Picked it up at Walmart. Pretty cheap. Did not do very well here in S. Mn. Had it in my plot along side 20 different corn two different years. Came in dead last one time and 3rd from bottom following year. Salesman were real nice but the yield just was not there. They kept wanting me to give it another chance. I said I would not buy any but if they want to send some up for my plot I will plant it. Never heard from them again.

Third rate stuff. They buy old seed lines cheap and sell them cheap. If you look at the independent yield trials they usually are well down toward the bottom. With seed corn you get what you pay for most times.
