Interesting auction today.

The Amish community near Wadena MN has a late summer and spring consignment auction every year. Proceeds go to their school. The wife spent about 100 bucks between their "bake sale" (too kill for) breads, pies and other goodies.....may have to keep the wife....she got me a blue berry pie!!!!!! Some dishes and cook ware for our youngest son who departs in the morning for college and some half grown chickens to add to her layers. Plus a preg bunny that my 5 year old grand daughter names after herself.....I spent 15 bucks on a couple of storage boxes and a tool box with a few tools.

Went to one on the July 4th and 5th in Jamesport,
MO. HUGE 2 day auction. Same thing - consign
everything and proceeds go to the school. Only time
I have ever been served chicken at an auction.
 
Speaking of auctions there was an estate sale here yesterday
everything went cheap for instance a beautifull 1968 charger
went for 2k

With my feelings about MOPAR I'd say that was a little high :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: but in the real world that's real cheap. :shock: :shock: :shock:

I was at a auction last Saturday. They had to run an Amish guy down for stealing sandwiches from the lunch counter and heading out of the building!
