Just wondering about this grease gun holder (shown mounted to an F20)... is it originally some aftermarket add-on, or did it come off some implement or maybe a cornpicker originally?

Just curious, thanks if you can help. [Picture is kind of a weird angle, should have turned it the other direction.)

My dad had one just like it on his farmall H when he bought it new in '46, when he traded tractors we kept it to put on other tractors after that.

greygoat,

Yep, I know there is a more modern style. Was just curious if this was something you could request when ordering a tractor. Or if they were just purchased at a store and added on to tractors or equipment.

dannye,

So are you saying his new tractor came from the dealer with this mounted on it? Or that your dad added one to the tractor?
Thanks.

He said it can on the tractor, he's gone now or I could check with him, but was always mounted on the frame oppisite side of the pulley as not to get in the way for the belt on the McCormick Deering threshing machine.
