I watched the program tonight it wasn't anything like it was desribed by the experts on here. I won't say any more except watch it yourself and make up your own mind.

A few months ago was another similar show (possibly a pilot for this show ?). Where the owners of a long defunct lace mill /factory ??, allowed this group of 3-4 guys to pick anything that would fit in a pickup box for several hundred $$ one time entry fee. They were instructed that the intact tower clock was off limits, anything else they could fit in the pickup box was fair game.

Except for the tower clock and one really ancient loom, which were off limits, the place had very little to pay back the entry fee. I think they scavenged some old vault inner doors, some old bowling pins and an old adding machine.
I really dod not think they got much considering the entry fee.

I watched it because the leader commercial showed them looking at a radiator plate warmer. We have one very similar hooked to our heating system. We removed it from my grandmothers house before it was demolished for a new McDonalds. I sandblasted and painted it before installing it. all that have seen it say they never saw one before and the one on the show is the only other one I have seen. Other than that the show wasn't much in my opinion.

this might get poofed as mine did but while i missed the show as i was outside working, im glad it wasnt what it appeared to be, we have enough problems with people riding atvs on pvt property and causing damage, lately they swipe metal for the scrapper if they decide we dont have a use for it, and of course there's always the ones secretly growing their pot in the farmers cornfields, we sure dont need to convey its just fine to break into buildings they find too
