43 years ago my wife and I tighted the knot. We have had a good 43 years not saying we didn't have our ups and downs but would do all over again.
 
When my wife an I celebrated our 25 anniversary 13 years ago one of ours sons told me "dad that sounds like a prison sentence......25 to life".

37 years of marital bliss Giggle, but have known each other since 1969 when I bought my little blue sports car. Women love sports cars.

Congratulations, Me n the "first wife" got hitched in 1970 and while all our kids n nieces n nephews now take honeymoons to the Bahamas and other expensive exotic foreign locations, we drove maybe 70 miles to Brown County State Park in Indiana then Pokagon State Park where the room was $8.50 per night (I still have receipt). Funny thing is after those expensive honeymoons many end up divorced while were still hitched despite a cheapie honeymoon GO FIGURE LOL

Congratulations, My wife and I too were married in April of 69, how ever lost her to high blood pressure in Dec. of 2003.
 
It will be 30 years October 9th for me and my other half providing I don't tick her off to much between now and then. LOL Congrats, hope to make it there and beyond some day.

We are heading toward 28... and we're both beginning to think this thing may last. :)
 
Friends of ours were married on October 9, but that was in 1970. We were married on January 9, 1971.

Any marriage that lasts is a record to be happy about. Now days, they don't even bother with a wedding so if it don't work out, just run out. That thought never entered into our minds.
 
John: Your wife would not be Mabel would it? I knew of a John Christian that lived close to me (and not that far from Nashville, Indiana). I have not seen them in a few years so I am not sure where they are now.
 
Jeanette & I celebrated 61 years of marriage in June. It has been a good trip! I'm glad we did it and would do it again in a heart beat. We have been in 46 of the lower 48 and been to Europe twice and to Mexico and Canada more times than we can keep track of. It has been FUN. We have 2 daughters and a son and 10 Grand kids. All of them are doing alright for them selves, and 1 GG son on the way. GOd has been GOOD to us. To HIM be the GLORY!

Jeanette & I celebrated 61 years in June. It has been a good trip! I'm glad we did it and would do it again in a heart beat. We have been in 46 of the lowr 48 and been to Europe twice and to Mexico and Canada more times than we can keep track of. It has been FUN. We have 2 daughters and a son and 10 Grand kids and all of them are doing alright for them selves, and 1 GG son on the way. GOd has been GOOD to us. To HIM be the GLORY!
 
Congrat's to all of you. We will have 43 on Sept 6th. Only problem we have is still working to damn hard. It is hard to believe that each one of us married that prefect woman.
 
Only 7 years for my wife and myself but at nearly 60 we"re quite happy we found each other. Funny thing back in 59 and 60 we went to grade school together first and second grade but neither remember the other and families moved and we went to other schools after that. Better late than never.
 
We're gonna hit #48 in December, unless I buy one more tractor. Been a blast the whole time, never knew what to expect when I walked thru the door.
 
It will be 46 years this November. Life has been good. Never had a lot of money. Had a business where we both had to put in long hours together. Two boy both have good jobs, youngest just returned from Kuwait,(his second tour) six days ago. Two wonderfull grandchildren. Told grandma our grandson needs to be thinking about taking over the farming. She says what. His only six.
