Farmall Decals

I"m heading into the home stretch of my restoration on a 1948 Farmall C. Problem is, I can"t seem to find the right decals. The original decals that came on the tractor have the IH block then say "McCormick-Deering" with "Farmall" underneath. Everything I"ve found so far is either the IH block with "McCormick" then "Farmall" or no IH block and "McCormick-Deering" then "Farmall". Was I just lucky enough to be in the middle of the crossover when Farmall eventually dropped the "Deering" or was it a local dealer thing? And is there any insight to where I could find the correct decals or am I going to have to cut and paste to get the original?

Thanks!

Hunter Maple decals is who you want to call. Just go online and they will help you out. I think 48 is the cut off for the deering. They will know.

I went through he same thing Tim on a 1947 'A' and will be facing the same issue on a couple 1949 'Cs'
When I did the A, Binder Books had the right decals in vinyl but they don't show them anymore on their web site.
I do remember someone else finding them later at Maple Hunter.
Good luck and let us know what you find. I will be needing some soon.

I believe 48 was the last full year - they ran into 49, and then were changed.

Maple hunter has them, you'll need to call.

But all they have is vinyl, not mylar. So not exactly orginal, but not a bad tradeoff for getting the right text.

The IH block with "McCormick-Deering" was only used for a short time, maybe a year or two.

Maple Hunter Decals is about the only place I know of that has the correct decals for that short run of tractors. They do not have a website, so you will have to phone them and talk to someone.
