Saw a couple Ollies, but wasn't sure whether to blame them on you or not.

Had to laugh - Dave drove his Advance from home. Must have been quite a trip! Was wiping the road crud, smoke and steam off'n it when we walked by.

I didn't make it. Felt bad about it. I needed to at the very least wash the 66 and fix the lights on the trailer. Planned to do it yesterday as soon as there was a break in the rain, but it never came. If I'd have done it this morning it would have been 11:30 before I got there.
I knew I needed to grind feed this afternoon,no problem,I was going to do that after the show, but there was so much water in those cattle barns,I had to get the slop hauled out and get some old waste hay bales home out of the fencerow to get them bedded up high and dry,so all in all,I just gave up on the whole thing and stayed home and did what I had to do. Wish the whole thing had been an afternoon show, more likely I'd have been there.

I'd have hated to have gotten behind Dave on the road with that thing.

Joan and I were up there for an hour or so.
We couldn't stay long, had other plans too.
We were looking for that 66 or a black and white hat. :)
We did get to see the Advance. Quite a few Ollies there.
Nice job on that old road grader too.
Ran into Gale and Glenna, that was nice.
Gale said the rain hurt the turn out, guess he was right,
but there were still quite a few tractors there!
We had a good time.

Think there was a 70 there, didn"t notice a Hart Parr... We didn"t stay long either. My son, grandson and I made a fast tour both sides of the street, and scooted. Grandson wanted to climb on about every tractor. (age 4). Also had a bunch of chores to do at home. Was a nice showing, however.

I don't believe I know Wendell, but I did not see a Hart Parr there.
Super 55, 60, 77 a very late model wide front JD A and an old Fordson, but I don't remember seeing a 70.
We got there about 11 and left about noon, so maybe he wasn't there yet.

He's getting up in years. Used to own Waldrons Sawmill out east of town. He's got a nice restored 70 and a real nice old Hart Parr on rubber.

We were at the national Oliver show in Hickory Corners in June and Gale and Glenda were some of the first people we ran into there too.

I've known Gale most of my life.
I went to school with his boys.
Joan and I went down to Hickory Corners this year.
Our first time there. Nice show, and the car museum was an added bonus.
