Which castle nut is Farmall factory original?

Which castle nut is factory orgininal type for holding the pulley wheel on a Farmall F20/Regular?

In 40 years of messing with older equipment I would go with type A.

I think B is the older design.

Type "A" is the style that my parts book shows for the Farmall Regular.

B is the everyday or modern castle nut. the cotter pin is even too small for that nut.
A is corrct for that application.

Thanks for confirmation.

We have style A on our F20... and bought one for our Regular which has style B. *So we will look for a style A for the Regular too.

A lathe will turn a B into an A in 2 minutes, in 6 minutes you could have 10 of them. Jim
