Mowing ... How long after spraying (killing)???

First, about the burrs the other day. Feed store guy gave me sumpin that he said will take everything (grass included).

So,
any idea how long after spraying I have to wait before mowing/mulching without the spraying being a waste of time/money? Hasn't rained but about a 5 minute drizzle since I sprayed a few days ago.

Next???,

It's a kill all, but spraying the big weeds, thistle, and nettle that are smothering the grass underneath. Think there is a good chance that just they will be shot and the grass will come in stronger after mow/mulching?

Take a look at the label on the herbicide container.

It might give a "holding period" on the application.

Nancy does all the spraying here and she usually sprays on a day that the plant will get at least one hour of direct sunlight.

Sounds like the herbicide you have might also kill the grass.

Nancy uses <a href="http://www.dowagro.com/range/products/grazonnext.htm">GrazonNext</a> to kill out the big weeds, thistle, and nettle.

Send her an email to get better information.

Just wait until it dies, dummy. Then, if anything comes back up, consider it a weed----

Ain't you the smart one????? :roll: Just want to get in and clean the place up/mow so I can put the area to use as soon as possible.. Already starting to turn brown/yellow so I guess it should be ready by next weekend.....

chopping it up... Really hoping that by just spraying the big junk that it'll spare the grass underneath, but that won't be a show stopper.

Dave the label is your friend!!! Read it as it will tell you how long the with draw period is. You may not be able to graze it for up to 90 days after application. It should tell you how long it is active too.
