I have an 8' hydraulic IH disc, i have rocks in my field and woul like to know what kind of blade to use, as i have broke several of them. Notched, rome, or coulter ?

I'd stay with the shape for the purposes intended. To solve your problem just get thicker blades. I ordered mine from ASC in NC. Shipped motor freight and was a good value.

Even their heaviest ones aren't rock proof. I put new ones on the back of my disc last fall(6 Ga IIRC), and when I finished this spring I had two that were cracked, only 100ish acres. They were Brazillian, the break looked like a bad seam from where two coils of steel were joined.
