Been a good day

Some problems just seem to fix themselves, and others turn out to be not so bad.

I gave the 425 lawn tractor another try today, got out the tools etc... And when I gave it one more try, it fired right up. I cut my parents entire lawn without any issues.

A last couple weeks our 165 has also been running crappy and dad picked up a new cap for it, but they didn't have the rest of the parts. He already had new plugs for it so he put them in, got the timing messed up and left it for me. I screwed with it that night but it wouldn't go. I came back the next night and screwed with it again, and got it running better than it has in a little while. Still gonna put in a new rotor once we pick it up and the pertronix kit that came today, but now it can wait.

We also went to town to get a new hydraulic hose made up for our old fox 3000 (still use that one while getting new one going) and then a power lead for the control box which was nothing more than a power cord for a snow plow. I hooked it up and low and behold, everything works as it should. I just gotta make up a bracket to mount it to the tractor, as I can't really mount it to the fuel tank fenders where I could bolt it to any other tractor. Not too big of a job, just gotta think about where to put it so it's in a good spot and out of the way of the hydraulic levers.
