OT - glowing tractors and rust garden (pics)

Discovered a new option in photo editing called "glowing edges". Posted before/after photos.

Kind of a strange option, and yet thought it was kind of neat. In the right spot, a couple pics could look sort of neat printed and framed up. My favorite is the last one of the lillies because it came out with really crisp, clear lines.

Many many moons ago when I was into photography and using 35mm SLR cameras, most of the trick shots like that were done in the darkroom. Kinda amazing what you can do with a digital cam now days.

Wow is that cool!! What photo program do you use? Here I thought is was the radiation that caused it. ;v)

I agree the lillies turned out best. Not just because of the crisp lines. It's the simple composition. The tractors are great, just way too busy. The chair, wheel, lilly setup looks neat, too!

steve and carol,
I've played with the pencil feature and the brush strokes feature. This is the first time with glowing edges.

Some pics turn out really neat in the various selections... some not good at all.

Crazy Red Power,
I use Corel X2 (only does photo editing - no video editing)... I think they may be up to a new version of X4 now. But I am still happy with this version.

Agree on the tractors. They would look best if copied and pasted onto a plain black background.

BillyinStoughton,
Yes, the name brand really pops. Kind of strange since it is black on black in the color photo. Must happen because there is a definite line/edge to the wording.

Don't get me wrong- I kinda like you- but-----you got too much time on your toes......

donjr,
LOL! You are right! Down to one 1/2 time job for the summer... did not plant a garden. Sorry! :)

I like especially the farmall pic, still got a little red in the rims/spokes but there is more green! I knew it all along, there is a Deere hidden somewhere in it....LOL, LOL!!!
Ralph rolling in OK.
