I got a little over an inch of rain yesterday in Western SC. Anybody else get any?

Dang, the difference a few miles make. I got 2 1/4" by my rain gauge, across the Enoree River. The one at work (Ft Inn) was a tad over 2 1/2. We did have some big downpours!

No rain in Middle Tennessee (at least on my farm in Middle Tennessee) since mid-July. Then it was tenths of an inch. Corn is severely stunted or dead. Soybeans are typically 6 or 8 inches tall. Pastures are dead.

I've been feeding hay to my cows for more than a month.

Need rain badly.

We got 3"-4" here in my part of Northern Greenville county, SC. Other spots got 6"+. Most of came down in about 3 hours, then slowed down to a drizzle for another 4-5 hours. We sure needed it, I could hear the drainpipe from the pond running this morning, something I hadn't heard in a while.

I was wondering if Yall were getting any rain up there. We have been getting afternoon thunderstorms down here fairly regularly. They are saying a tropical depression is forming as I was writing this. All I can say is have the spare room ready cause I'm coming to stay with you. I stayed here during Hugo and I promised my wife and myself that I would never do that again.
