Well this is all the corn Got out fo 1/4 acre. 2nd planting already has silk and tiny ears. 85 day corn. The last pic are the one we are eating tonight. Doesn't have the usual flavor.

No water supply for that field? Move it. I did I put it in the "lawn" that is adjacent to the driveway and 100 feet from the well spigot.

If you are going to freeze corn, the easiest and best way to put it up is to push the wheelbarrow right up to the freezer and just pitch it in. I have been doing it that way for over 20 years. Lots of people don't like to hear this, but it sure works good. As long as the shucks are not pulled down and the silks are left alone, they will keep well. I have used some that had been in there over a year and still good. Just cut off the end with the worms and throw it in a pot. An old uncle of mine told me about this years ago. I thought at the time that it sounded pretty disgusting, but a couple of years later I had a lot to put up and not much time, so decided to give it a try, and have been doing it ever since.

neighbor cut his for silage a couple of weekends ago,i didnt see a ear of corn on it anywhere.
