I'd been saying that I'd heard somebody disced some corn down due to dry weather. I went to the family reunion today and found out the truth. I've got a cousin who lives right across the road from him. He said "well, let me tell you the truth about that". He said the guy made a $30,000 mistake. Aparently somebody offered him a super deal on what he thought was just old seed. He planted a hundred acres of it. He went out and sprayed it with Roundup and,you guessed it,it wasn't Roundup Ready. He killed every last bit of it. Thought it was just dying in the heat til he looked in to what he planted.

It is when it happens this late! I had about the same thing happen one time. I ordered all RR Dekalb seed, but the one variety that the dealer delivered to me wasn't. I killed off about 25 acres, but it was early June and was silage corn anyway. I replanted some 85 day at his expense and got a silage crop anyway.

I have to say, that"s fitting. I personally wish all the RR seed would disappear. There are way too many people suddenly coming up with strange medical issues that the doctors can"t quite figure out, either fibromyalgia or it"s a Gluten issue. People that NEVER had an issue until the last 5 to 6 years, now all of a sudden.... Has to be a connection with RR crops and people eating food that has Roundup in it. If the plant absorbs the stuff, it has to go somewhere, may as well water your crops with radioactive water too....

Yes, and if you look back at the history of these people with problems, you find out that most of them probably would've died as babies had it not been for modern medical science.

The pure facts are IF not for roundup ready corn farmers wound not be making it. Just have not been any adverse affect proven in any way. Farm 4400 acres and without it just could,n make it.

So, it"s better to end up killing people, rather than taking care of crops the old fashioned way??? And providing a better product? I don"t get that kind of thinking, if you couldn"t properly grow 4400 acres without RR toxic produce, then maybe grow 2200 acres of good corn, price would still be higher if supply doesn"t meet demand, and the supply would be better. I"m ok with RR if its only being used for worthless Ethanol, should not be used for feed for animals or Humans.

Oh, and I forgot, sure there has not been any "adverse" affects Proven. Monsanto has Billions to shut up anyone that proves their product is dangerous. I've seen several reports, that are not allowed to be published in the US because of Monsanto's lawyers. Genetic modification has been proven to be unpredictable, the modification does not always act the same, also the Human body detects foreign, not natural chemicals in the body and fights it, majority of so called "fibromyalgia" and the "Gluecose" issues are the result.
