magnets for pain?

went to the fair yesterday and saw a magnet guy in the commercial building. i have seen/heard about magnet bracelets and necklaces for years. he said these were 900 gauss. any good experiences?

Had a horse with some joint problems to the point of taking him to the butcher. Tried a magnetic band and he turned out fine. Just sold him today (completely healthy), 8 years after the magnetic treatment.....

We live on a planet with a molten core made up of iron and nickle. The earth has a giant magnetic field that makes compasses work and protects us from solar radiation. I doubt a little magnet on a bracelet or necklace has much effect.

Dave! do you reckon that that magnetic band, pulled all the iron out of the horse's body, and collected it in his joint? I guess that it would then set up like concrete, and he would be the horse of steel! (Just wondering, Sunday and nothing to do.)

I don't know.... Just know he was suckin and couldn't lift his leg real well (dragging his toe off). after the magnet treatments, he was done.... Time prolly played some of the roll, but not to make a complete recovery.....

My wife uses a magnetic blanket on her horses...swears by it as she does with her magnetic necklace...she even loans the necklace to her friends and they say it cures whatever it was that ailed them.

My wife swears by them, and she's a nurse, not prone to believing those kind of things. She has an ankle that bothers here quite bad since she broke it at a young age. She bought one in the flea market area at a tractor and engine show a few years ago. Took about 20 minutes to have one custom made to fit her ankle just right, but she's hooked on them now.

Something doesn't add up right. We are told that the earth's magnetic field comes from the molten core of iron and nickel. But if you take a permanent magnet made of iron and nickel and heat it up , it looses it's field long before it melts. Any thoughts????????????

I don't know how to post a a link, but google Dr. Franz Mesmer. Very interesting reading. Maybe he was ahead of his time. Maybe a kook!

Magnets in your pockets, copper bracelet on your wrist, re-orient your house so it's in-line with the magnetic lay lines under your house, and maybe even a tin foil hat and you'll be totally immune to anything. OH, I forgot, You need magnets in your shoes also and maybe even a magnetic floor pad in front of your work bench, and while we're at it, let's go ahead and place magnets on the fuel lines of our cars to increase the miles per gallon.
