How long should I keep livestock and horses off a field that I spray with 2 4 D?

The brand of 2,4-D that I use is an ester based herbicide (as opposed to an amine base). The label on my product specifies a withdrawal for livestock grazing of at least 30 days.
You should be able to get precise information from the label on your bottle or by googling an MSDS for your specific product.
