OT: Pramitol usage?

What is the rule about distance around well and water ways? How long will it take to brake down in the environment?

I here Round Up is relatively safe and brakes down fast but what about Pramitol?
 
When I use to spray fields ten years ago they told us in all the classes and books, 60ft was the safety margin to stay from water wells. Roundup neutralizes when it hits the soil. Being out of the spray business for ten years they have come out with many new names for the same crop protection products (insecticides and herbicides) so I don't know anything about Pramitol! I would ask you local co-op or ag distributor. Hope this helps...
 
READ THE LABEL!!!!!!!!! That's what it's for- not decoration for the local housewife. I use a Pramitol spike with Roundup under fences. It seems to work real good.
 
Just realize it is a little diffrent for Rounup it kills the ground not the plant. I use it around buildings and under fence seems to keep things from growing for quite a time.

It don't say anything, just how to mix and apply. MSDS is the same for the most part.

"Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not
contaminate water used for irrigation or domestic purposes. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters.
Apply this product only as specified on this label."
 
Pramitol kills the ground for several years depending on how heavy you spray it and it does bleed out a little ways away from the target point. Jim
 
Fifty years ago, when I was still in high school, Dad had me spray some fence lines with Pramitol. To this day there is nothing that will grow there, aside from bracken ferns, and some ratty looking raspberry bushes.
