When I put in my driveway I hired a guy with an excavator to remove the top 6 inches of topsoil/and dirt. Then I bought 50 yards of fill sand, then 100 yards of 1x3 limestone. Then after a year or so I bought the crushed limestone and spread that on the drive. All together I spent over $5000 on my mini-road. It was worth it.
Good luck with yours, that gravel aint cheap no-more.

That boy do have a way of gettin' things done, don't he? Always kinda wanted to operate heavy equipment myself, but I'm not sure if I have that kind of talent.

Ain't no wonder we're hav'n all these global warming things going on down here in the good ol' U S of A.........your busy ripping all the trees out of the earth. What the heII??????? Knock it off, wood 'ya?

I thought this was gunnabe a house lot with commercial building in town... it looks like you are way off in the bush. No wonder the cost of it.
Quit showing off wet ground and cool dark trees... you got very many 'mericans drooling right now...

Knock it off, Lyle. We know you're really cutting timber for that mill and a road to haul it out......

It sure don't look like it will support a Crete Truck yet! Them things are expensive to get out even with the Case dozer cabled to them. What do they charge up there after the 15min./yd. unload time? What did you do with all the salvage timber?
LOL

asnt much for timber on this site, what is there will be in the burn pile. Yep that concrete is about 200/meter up here, 1/12 crushed gravel is going for 24 bucks per yard.

Nice lookin preliminary. Now we all expect the road to be paved with a center yellow line and curve signs etc. Would have brought our O.C.46 to do the heavy work but you didn"t ask. lol. Regards LOU.

Looks like you're harming sensitive wetlands, maybe we should call DEQ or EPA, NOT!!...keep diggin
