Here's a picture taken in Washinton DC of the storm damage from last night's storm. Suppose to hit here again tonight & tomorrow. Baltimore
area has over 400,000 homes without power. I'm about 30 miles NE of Baltimore and we didn't lose power. Hal

Looks like you guys out that way better duck for cover and batten down the hatches and maybe hold on extra tight. Very odd weather this year maybe there is something to the 12-21-2012 thing LOL
 

We were just about 5 miles from home having dinner in a beergarden when a storm came thru and dumped about an inch of rain in a few minutes... Came home expecting to find a mess because just outside town corn and grain was pretty much flat. One field about 150 yards from the house and water in it like a lake. Everything at the house was/is dry and the sky is all blue now.....
 
I didn't watch any news last night. Didn't know about the storms until I turned on the computer about noon today. I think they had some bad weather in parts of NC last night, but here all we got is HEAT. 102 yesterday, and supposed to hit it again today, but at 4:45 PM EDT it is only 98, so we might not make it. El Toro, hope you folks stay safe and the bad stuff misses you.
 
I got the same storm lots of trees and lims down spent all morning clearing debre. Power out about 4 hours. Biggest problem only 2 tenths rain.Have more clearing to do tomarrow.Suprised the corn stood well.
 
Lotta lightning last night, about 1/10 of an inch of rain and very little wind here closer to Pennsyltucky in Maryland. Helluva light show. Who needs fireworks later this week?

The storm you had there must have been one of those precisely engineered German Drone Storms that only strikes the "bad guys". You must still be a good guy!! Roll

Naa.... It figured out it's mistake and came back for another pass that took care of us......
