New rear tires?

I have a IH 300 utility with about 1200 hours on it. Has a loader too. I converted it to 12v and it runs fine but I don't like it much as it is very heavy with the loader. Problem is, the rear tires are getting side wall splits in them, tread is 50%. I patched 1 from the outside but the other tube sprung a calcium leak 3 days ago. So, I do NOT want to put new rears on the thing. What are the chances of finding 13.6x24 used tires with ok tread and no cracks?

wish I could help you... Just moved 2 pair out of the way a couple days ago yo get to a bigger one for a feeder... Local ag shop will let you have anything from the trash pile because they have to pay to get rid of it....
Tires are decent priced here so folks replace them as needed instead of when they pop.....
What would those tires cost you new??

Much as I hate dealing with them, occasionally I have to deal with the McScrew brothers, over at Mason Dixon/McScrew Auction, in 7 valleys, PA. I got a matched pair of 14.9X 24's, for $450. Almost 100 % tread, but 10-15 years old. About half of what new would cost. If you want to know what new costs, check with Bob's tire, Charlestown WVA. They always had the cheapest prices, I could find on new tires, but in this economy, I just can't afford new!

Tucker had new Titan 8 ply take offs for $500 a pair a few months back. I put a pair on the front of a tractor, they are fine.

I don't know yet, but the house call will be about
$75, the tube another $75 and I'm guessing $700 for
2 rears. Bummer. I was shopping for a grain drill,
not tires.

I've got a pair of new, never been put on rims 12.4X24s that I'd sure like to find a new home for. I bought them for a tractor that I sold & the buyer didn't want the new ones. 500 for the pair plus shipping. Bought them from Tucker Tire, Not Firestone or Goodyear. Keith

I've been looking for a year. Everybody seems pretty proud of their used tires, can't blame them. Following new tire prices up, up, up. Lucky to get a decent usable pair for $400.
