Had broccoli fresh from the garden along with sweet peas creamed, pork chops,pineapple slices for desert few potato French fries. Broccoli tasted great, doesn't have the store bought flavor. Garden is growing great for the second year. Larry's looks great along with the other posters garden pictures. Cant beat the taste!!

Yep. Small crisp of bacon pieces in with the ceese. Meal all by it's self.Can't beat hpme grown vegies. ROY,Thanks for the response Regards, LOU.

I'm cutting my first batch today. Pickles and cukes are blossomed and it's time to start looking for new potatoes. Green beans are about an inch long so should be picking around the 4th. Sweet corn is nearing tassel emergence. Pulled the snow peas yesterday; I'll plant again around August 1.

Looks delicious! If I had that, I'd need to make Fettuccini Alfredo with broccoli in it. YUM. Our kids love it and so do we.

Do you blanch and freeze any for winter? If you have extra - might want to give it a try.

Every time I try growing broc it looks great and when we pull a batch out of the steamer to eat the botoom of the pan has little green worms in it, no thanks. And thats with regular Sevin applications

Redtom

Soak it in salt water for a while and it will kill the worms and cause them to float on the water.
