3 pt Wheel Rake

I bale small odd shaped Fields. My own and some custom work. Bale about 2000 bales a year. My Bar Rake broke and not worth fiixin. Thinkin about gettin a. 3 PT Wheel Rake. What do you guys think?

If you have relatively flat ground they don't work too bad but if it is rolling ground they don't work worth a darn. They are cheaper than most other rakes but if you get one go ahead and get a new one. Used ones often have the teeth just about worn out and when they start breaking they will all go real fast. You can also buy the complete rake wheels new for around $100 each.

Bought a new one three years ago use it to turn wind rows from swather. and rake small areas. works great. It has three wheels. gitrib

I like them,but they don't turn corners. The hay just slides and bunches if you try. My money would be on a gyro type if you have odd shaped fields.
